Hi, I’m Adri

I’m a writer, wife, Christian, and professional noticer of things. Born and raised in Oakland, California, and now living in San Jose, I’ve always been curious about the world around me and the stories hidden in everyday life.

For a long time, I thought writing had to be polished, purposeful, or useful to be worth sharing. Adri Notices Things is my attempt to let go of that idea. This blog is a place where I document the things I notice, big and small. Sometimes that means writing about faith, autism, marriage, personal growth, or pregnancy. Other times it means writing about a random thought that won’t leave me alone.

I’m autistic, a late diagnosis that helped me better understand myself and the way I experience the world. My faith has also shaped who I am, teaching me to look for God’s presence in both extraordinary moments and ordinary ones.

I don’t claim to be an expert on much of anything. I’m simply someone trying to pay attention to life and write honestly about what I find along the way.
